If you have been riding with me long enough to remember that I am the Creator and Editor of my old blog, Flawless Fabs, you may have noticed that quite a bit has changed. More specifically, the name and whole look of the site has changed! Flawless Fabs will always hold a special place in my heart and may actually return at some point but I've decided to take more of working woman fashion driven approach. During my journey of blogging, I learned A WHOLE LOT. I learned that I must stay true to who I am and it's much easier to blog about things that go on in my every day life. That way, I will not run out of content and I can most importantly write about every day things that speak true to who I am and what I do in my daily life. I am a working woman who always try to do things with style. The President of the company that I currently work for always compliments me on how well dressed I am. I always took it as a nice compliment and kept it moving. But one day when he told me, I graciously thanked him and said
"I can't control many things in my life but I can control how I dress for work. So, I take pride in that."
After I said it, that quote never left my mind. Dressing up for work and looking nice is something that I always strived to do but I didn't put much thought into why I do it. I realized that it was just apart of who I am. I can't control much but I can control my image and how people perceive me as I'm speaking to them about serious topics. I always wanted to be respected in that regard.
Late last year, I hit a brick wall when it came to my blog. I wasn't feeling it. I had mistakenly compared myself to other bloggers and was more focused on how to get more social media followers and traffic to my site. This time around, I'm just going to have fun with my blog and aim to inspire others along the way. Fashionably Ambitious is focused on all things in life that revolves around career, work-life balance and motivation to keep going. Sure, I'll try to get better with my marketing tactics to get my blog known but I won't let it consume me.
I hope that you all enjoy Fashionably Ambitious and I hope that it inspires you to look good, feel good and work hard to take care of business and live your best life!
Until next time...Later F.A.Bs - Fashionably Ambitious Bosses!
