Break-ups...We all have been there or may be going through one right now. If we make a decision to get into a relationship with someone, we are basically allowing ourselves to become vulnerable enough to potentially get hurt if the relationship ends. You're gambling with your heart. I could sit here and act like it's easy to just pack up your feelings and move on like that person never existed but I'm not even going to lie, the sh*t hurts!

While it may seem like you don't know how you're going to get through it, just remember that storms don't last forever! There comes a day when you realize that you deserve better for yourself. Well if that day hasn't come for you yet, then I'm here to tell you that you deserve better for yourself. A part of being Flawless is pulling it together and pushing through! Unpack your Baggage

Unpack your baggage...your emotional baggage that is. Erykah Badu said it best "All you must hold onto, is you." Don't harbor all those hurt feelings that you have. Release it and let it go! Give yourself time and space to hurt, cry, scream and process your emotions. It's always helpful to talk through your feelings with a loved one or maybe even a therapist. If you're working for a company, find out if your job provides a Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a benefit. It's a completely confidential program that often provides a service of a couple free therapy sessions to employees.

The worst thing that you can do for yourself is to keep your feelings inside. While you may think that you're doing a good job with hiding your hurt, it shows sis. It's weighing you down and holding you back from growing. You could ultimately be bringing that baggage that you never unpacked into a future relationship and that partner doesn't deserve that. Leave that baggage right where it needs to be, in the TRASH! 

Try Out New Hobbies and Activities

Getting over a break-up is the best time to make new memories by trying new activities and hobbies that allows you to strengthen the best relationship that you can have- the one with yourself. Sometimes, the best thing that you can do is to step out of your comfort zone and level yourself up to new heights. You may never know, it could ignite a new passion, introduce you to new people and keep your mind off of your ex. 

Want to try new things but don't have any friends that you can experience them with? Try Meetup It's a website that people in your local cities join to form groups based on common interests. These groups schedule activities and events where you can experience new things and meet some awesome people while doing it! I've done it a few times and had an amazing time. Don't limit your fun, challenge it! 

Make Money Moves

 When you're no longer in a relationship, you may find that you have more time on your hands. What better way to spend your extra time than to start a new business venture, go back to school, work on getting that promotion or even relocating for a new job? Ex bae could have been holding you back! Count your blessings sis! Take some time to plan out your goals and figure out how you're going to achieve them. Things aren't going to happen overnight but atleast you can take some steps toward them. Gone are the days where we depend on a man to bring home the bacon. Girl Bosses are taking over. Do some Limitless Living. 

Have goals but don't know where to start? Begin searching blogs that cater to a certain niche, attend webinars and look on YouTube. There are so many free resources now. There really isn't an excuse as to why you can't make some strides in reaching your goals and getting this shmoney!
